Liked: This is the second time we have stayed as we loved it so much. It’s a fabulous, relaxing little retreat for couples and the hosts are very nice. Delicious breakfast and the whole package feels very personal.

Liked: My mum and I came here for some quality time together and to explore the area and it was perfect!! We loved it! Mum slept in the bedroom and me on the sofa bed and the apartment is great, with every little touch you can think of. With the best hosts, we got fresh eggs, milk and bread from Clair and Philips farm. With chickens, horses, dogs and puppies, what more can you want? Perfect location for exploring beautiful area, would highly recommend.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: This is the ideal couples retreat, it was so magical, the building itself was amazing with all its quirks. Philip kindly gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our engagement and he cooks a fabulous breakfast. We had a wonderful relaxing time and can’t wait to go back.

Liked: Amazing, very atmospheric place, like travelling back to Tudor times but with all modern comforts provided! Very spacious accommodation on two levels, with original features- exposed beams, fieplaces - unlike any other place we stayed in before; the host exceptionally tactful, unimposing and generous- lots of sweets, fruit and drinks provided upon arrival and the breakfast the next morning cooked to perfection. Good location, the place easy to find - and beautiful grounds with an old orchard to enjoy ...
