Disliked: The food was very salted the chicken bread crumbs where burnt not ederble was not told on booking facility's was not available got email 4 hours later last time we came we had a brilliant week end

Beyond my expectations

Liked: The food was exceptional. As well as the breakfast.
Disliked: I had a bath in my room which I was looking forward to using. Unfortunately I couldn’t as the plug didn’t fit.

Lovely hotel, clean and lovely...

Liked: The property was clean and of a high standard as always.
Disliked: The spa had closed for renovations which we had been informed of a few weeks before the booking via email but no discount was given for this.We ordered room service which consisted of a bottle of wine and a small cheese board and this took 50 minutes to arrive. When ordering, the young man on the other end of the phone was less than professional as was giggling with another member of staff whilst taking my order and struggling to keep a straight tone whilst talking to me. When the board arrived it was the most pathetic cheese board I’ve ever had with a couple of very hard “crackers”, a few different cheeses and some wilting veg which you could tell had been left for a long amount of time before delivery. None were even near cold and some of the cheeses had started to harden. I wouldn’t expect this of the vale as I’ve always had good experiences before this so hoping it was a one off.

A lovely, friendly venue.

Liked: Beautiful venue, very clean hotel and rooms.Amazing front of house staff.Good price and breakfast.The room and the size of the bed.
Disliked: The only issues we had were my wife's food from the bar grill, and a drinks order.My wife returned her food order once as it was soggy instead of crispy, they made her a replacement but she was only able to eat two items of that.Ordered two double baileys, but only received two singles, this was rectified when I returned to the bar and informed the barman of the correct measures for baileys. No other issues at all.
