Liked: Staff were amazing, atmosphere great. Welcome note on the dorm door is a nice touch:)
Disliked: It's loud - bring your earplugs with you!

Great stay!

Liked: We unfortunately didn't get to use the brand new kitchen they were building, but it looked like it was going to be amazing! We enjoyed the location, we could go out at night walking, the room was spacious and the bed really comfy. We also really enjoyed how big the downstairs area was to work, enjoy a chat or spend time with friends.

Fine for a couple of...

Liked: Large. Quite a unique layout, if a bit labyrinthine. Close to centre and tram route. Single room was a decent size. Decent lounge area.
Disliked: Felt quite dated. Toilets and showers were pretty grotty (dusty vents, peeling walls and ceilings etc). Beds not particularly comfortable.

If you've got a car...

Liked: Great kitchen, handy location to the city central.
Disliked: We (x2) had a car and booked a double room, when you add on the parking costs there are better alternatives. The off-street parking, if you could get it, was well away from the hostel.The pillows are very thin with no support, so we ended up having borrow some from friends.
