Liked: Aesthetically it was great! Very clean. Staff were all friendly. Lovely lounge area downstairs. Extremely modern. Good breakfast. Was very happy with our stay

Modern hotel close to public...

Liked: The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from Berlin Hauptbahnhof station, which connects via regular trains to the airport. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and nice decor. The shower had great water pressure and had a rainfall attachment. The TV in the room connects to YouTube and Netflix. I liked that the hotel has more of a sustainable focus, with little touches like wooden room cards. I believe breakfast is included as standard if you book directly but we had to pay extra for breakfast because we booked via booking.com. There is a safe in the room and hairdryer. There is a dual shampoo/body wash in the bathroom but no conditioner. I think there is a gym available too but we didn’t make use of this. Lots of bikes/scooters around the hotel available to rent too.
Disliked: The reception could have benefited from having more staff as it got busy at times, with staff checking people in and also working at the bar. The hotel was advertised as having a rooftop bar which we looked forward to using, however this is misleading - the bar is on the ground floor only, but there is a rooftop area where you can take your drinks up and smoke too. We found that our door strangely kept opening one night, which was probably just us not locking it correctly, but worth noting. In the bathroom there is a sign that says that the cleaners won’t clean your room unless you put the sign on the door to ask for this. We were quite happy to not have our room cleaned because of our short stay but returned one afternoon to it having being cleaned. Worth noting so you hand the do not disturb sign on the door if you explicitly don’t want this. The hairdryer was a bit broken in our room but worked well enough. Lastly, the vegan breakfast could have been more extensive. There were vegan croissants, cheese and pancakes, but it would have been nice to maybe have some vegan meats there too like the normal continental breakfast so it was a bit more substantial.

Liked: Very clean, creative and unique! Location was perfect, bathroom and room was spacious. Can't forget our little gnome

Good

Liked: Clean, good personnel, free coffee, but for the price it should be with free breakfast. Close to the subway.
Disliked: Strange elevator which is not starting to go after you pick the floor.

A fun and relaxed place...

Liked: I liked the quirky style of the hotel. I liked the working spaces where I could plug in my laptop. 24 hours service is good for jet lag, and free water and coffee at night.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of.

Suitable for short stay

Liked: Clean and modern with good facilities in a nice area
Disliked: Room was very warm even in October/November and air conditioning did not work properly, room was not even remotely sound proof , could hear everything outside the room in the hall , including everyone the elevator was used , quite expensive for such a small room with little space and storage
