Liked: Liked the Mineral Springs pool and whirlpool, but both in need of replastering and retiling. Loved the Steam and Sauna rooms.
Disliked: The disabled access room we were in had little natural light as it is located under stairs and faces inside courtyard with no patio (on ground floor). No dining room or cafe or breakfast option onsite. Very basic, but clean and great location in outskirts of Calistoga town.

Friendly, clean, safe - good...

Liked: Very clean and quiet rooms. Really friendly staff. We loved having towels and robes provided. The hot springs were not overly chlorinated, which was nice. Loved having good coffee available in the room - with real coffee cups too! Nice to have a decent fridge in the room. The water temperature in the spa and pool was just right.
Disliked: The spa tub is small. If the place had been fully booked, I can imagine that it would have been a long wait to have space in the tub. The hotel is right on a busy road so the traffic noise was unpleasant while soaking. The tub and the pool could use some TLC: broken tiles, cracking paint, etc. We would have enjoyed having the pools open before 9 am. Maybe 8am? We got charged a $17 fee when checking in for having booked through Booking.com. That surprised us.
