Had I known a crazy...

Liked: Never go on a Friday before Saint Patrick day. You will NOT sleep at all. College students stayed here, partying all night -the cops showed up but that didn’t stop the college kids-parting until 8am sat morning. Rocky the manager I thought would be kind to give me the remainder of my money back per our nice conversation. My stay was for three nights and I wasn’t gonna stay here again after the first night of absolutely no sleep, marshmallows thrown on my car, Jell-O shots found all over the ground. I asked for a refund for the last two nights and Rocky said as long as booking contacted him. Which I followed through with. But Rocky did NOT. He basically stole about $250 from me. Please be aware. I thought he was nice but I guess not that nice.
Disliked: Manager Rocky lied to me about returning my money after our conversation. His poor maid had to clean up several rooms that were a total mess from the pre-partying of Saint Patrick day, college students and out of town college kids (Idaho college kids) created a huge mess for Rocky and his staff. Rocky seemed to understand when I complained that I didn’t get any rest but after all was said and done Rocky obviously didn’t care about me-he only wanted my money. My three night stay he took all of my money, I only stayed one night. No reimbursement when he said he would. All lies….

A motel style accommodation. Nothing...

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room wasn't cramped. The location was quiet (although there were very few people in when I was there, so hard to tell what it's like when full)
Disliked: The breakfast is available in the reception area. Pre-packed cheese croissant and mini-burgers, some yoghurt and a limited amount of fruit. And a drinks machine. It's very basic and far from exciting.

Stay was nice, because of...

Liked: The location was very convenient to Cal Poly SLO. I like that the room had been recently renovated and the floor, paint and heating/AC was new.
Disliked: Parking and driveway were a bit tight

Good

Liked: Bed was very comfy although the pillows are weirdly small. I was alone and needed all four pillows to sit up in bed.
Disliked: The squealing from my shower was unpleasant. I also heard quite loudly the plumbing in adjacent rooms. The bottom sheet on my bed did not extend to the foot of the bed, about a foot of the mattress pad was exposed. Rooms seem recently remodeled but the exterior needs work. Spaces between parking spots are full of weeds and trash. Breakfast is packaged sandwiches and pastries.

Superb

Convenient for exploring SLO and...

Liked: Conveniently located for exploring San Luis Obispo and the surrounding area by car. The hotel is quite basic, but good for staying a couple of nights. Parking is just in front and it's possible to walk to the centre, which was great.
Disliked: Breakfast was very basic and the toilet had some issues flushing. The aircon in the room is also a bit loud.

Liked: Cleanness.
Disliked: One Keurig machine for breakfast coffee.
