Such a cute hotel with...
Liked: All the cute pineapple decorations. The beautiful bedding, with instructions to how to unfold your comforters.

It was a good stay...
Liked: The location is great and having the Portage Bay restaurant next door was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The building is showing its age. Carpet in my room had multiple areas that were stained and even torn. The heating and cooling unit is old, very noisy and when the thermostat kicks in it doesn't turn off the fan so it continued to run constantly. The thing I disliked the most was the cost and the fact that my university discount was not applied because it was peak season. Over $600/night the first week of my stay was just way too much money for this hotel.

OK for a one night...
Liked: It was a comfortable room.
Disliked: The hotel price itself was, to me, on the expensive side. Add to that the 'resort fee' and $20 for parking, and it was more than I thought reasonable. The resort/amenities included the swimming pool, but the pool was closed for the season. The rest of the fee was for "pineapple" amenities, which was one beer, some cookies and Wi-fi. Hardly worth it.
