A stylish hotel in a...

Liked: The room was very stylish and comfortable, well appointed and extremely clean. The staff at check in and the cleaning staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The location is superb to explore the city.
Disliked: I thought the breakfast could have been better served, there were several food stations to help oneself with a random way to organise things. Both coffee and tea were very weak, we didn't drink either and I would have expected smoked salmon to be offered. The staff didn't clear things off the table so I did it myself as there was no space on our table. However staff were friendly, polite and smiley.

Pleasant but expectations weren’t met

Liked: The position of the hotel. It was clean. Some of the staff were helpful
Disliked: The room was supposed to have a view it was just the building over the road. The room was nice but didn’t feel special. It was very plain and dull. I didn’t like that it had a connecting door.The breakfast was very disappointing. I could ask for poached eggs and could do toast but add avocado and it was £11?? It is the first time we have been to a hotel of this standard and there were actually items to pay for from an all inclusive breakfast. The breakfast items were never replenished quickly. We had to ask for pastries one day and bread for toast another. The first day we were made to feel very uncomfortable as we were not on the list to have breakfast included. She didn’t believe us. My husband was sent flying as a member of staff rushed through the door to where we were standing by the lift.

Liked: Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: Bathroom was dirty, not what I would expect from such a hotel. Requested a bath for accessibility didn't provide
