Liked: Excellent location, classic Nantucket decor, the staff could not have been more helpful, breakfast was delicious and plentiful! An absolutely wonderful experience!

Felt like a home away...

Liked: We loved how large the room was and the garden patio. The staff was super duper friendly too and genuine. Although we didn't have a chance to use it we really liked the kitchen too and how open everything was. Really a nice, small touch to have water in our room and accessible tea, coffee, and evening treats in the main room. It really felt like a home.
Disliked: The couch in the living room was super firm and was listed as a sofa bed, but it didn't pull out. We didn't realize until about 12:30am when we were going to bed that this was the case. There were also no big blankets only a really thin throw, so I had a terrible nights sleep. Had I have known I know the innkeeper would have given us a blanket for sleeping. I was seriously so bummed out for nearly $1000/night.

Exceptional service, caring staff, and...

Liked: Everything was lovely! The staff was exceptionally kind and clearly wanted to make sure that I had a great stay. There were many thoughtful touches, from welcome chocolates in the room, to providing sunscreen/beach chairs/beach towels, etc. to free waters to take with you for the day plus endless tea/coffee and afternoon baked goods. They also had a nice itinerary of events going on on the island each day. I enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast in bed, but you can also eat it in their cute back patio/garden area. The room was clean and very comfortable, especially the bed - I slept very well. The inn is perfectly located just steps from all the shops and restaurants but was very quiet at night for sleeping. Could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely recommend it to others!
Disliked: The only minor thing was that my room had two doors that seemed to connect to the room next door (one of the doors was off the alcove in front of the bathroom and could be shut off from the bedroom by the inner bedroom/bathroom door) and since it’s an older home, the doors had about one inch of gap underneath between the door and the floor. This meant I could hear my neighbors and see when they had the lights on in their room, etc. Wasn’t a big deal at all and it never interrupted my stay or my sleep, but something quirky about the room. Might be particular to this room and not to others. Still an amazing stay overall!
