Liked: Rooms VERY clean, owner was over the top

Cheap and good.

Liked: The rooms were very clean and the room service is really good. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is free coffee available in the morning. For everyone that wants to cook on the room there are kitchen utensils available for free that can be borrowed at the reception.
Disliked: The hotel is near a road and you can hear the traffic in the room. For the price you can not complain about that and I guess you will hear that in any cheap accommodation in LA. If you are sensitive, a couple of ear plugs will do ;)

Liked: Nicely updated room, clean, comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Gated parking. A very simple but well presented accommodation.
Disliked: Pacific Coast Highway is heavily trafficked, so very noisy. Kitchenette counter space is minimal.

Disliked: Daytime hours the street noise is on the high end but quiet at night.
