Liked: Good location when visiting the Centro Histórico, if you venture beyond the centro traffic can be a problem. Comfortable room, great bath and shower, and very good breakfast provided. Service throughout the property was excellent.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very nice and attentive. The rooms were spacious with real, cozy European-style blankets. Water pressure in shower was great (very important for ladies with long hair
Disliked: What I didn’t like as much was that it was a bit noisy—we woke up around 4 a.m. hearing our neighbors shower for about 30 minutes. Also, in some parts of the room, the wall paint wasn’t applied very well, which didn’t look great. And there were visible streaks on the floors from cleaning or mopping.

Liked: We liked the hotel and the staff a the Hotel. We loved the staff and restaurant on the ground level. The Staff and restaurants on the top floor were terrible. Disappointing as we went to the pool eveyday.
Disliked: Every single time we wanted a drink at the pool we needed to get up and go tell the restaurant staff that we wanted to order something. We had to ask for dirty dishes by the pool to be taken away.

Good architecture but that's pretty...
Liked: Hotel staircase and elevators are beautiful, original and well preserved. It's an old office building repurposed to be a hotel. Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helped us a lot with the baggage. Location is convenient to explore the east and central parts of the city.
Disliked: The walls are very thin and you can hear the TV from the rooms next door. Because of the open space layout and no separation between the terrace lounge and the rooms, all the noise (blenders, etc.) and music from the restaurant located on the terrace get to the rooms. Also, dining options at this hotel are subpar and not what you would expect for this price. I ordered room service once and the quality of the dish was just sad. The rooms are a bit dated, our door key card chip fell off during our stay and wasn't replaced by the hotel. The hotel has a stunning architecture but that's pretty much it.

Wear woolly hats and gloves...
Liked: The bed.
Disliked: Loads, but most of all, the hotel was really COLD, there was no heating in the whole of the hotel, even the receptionist wore a puffer jacket on duty. We complained, as in January, Mexico City gets cold after 4, and we are in our 70s, we complained and they gave us a 3 bar electric heater (for a 3 roomed bedroom: big bathroom, study and bedroom) and blankets. They said they would take our first night off the bill, but went back on this promise. Don;t be fooled by the picture of the pool, it is tiny, not a lap-pool. Also could not get wine in the restaurant (and this is supposed to be the Hilton!!!). The manager was very unhelpful. Not a nice hotel, too cold and uncomfortable.
