Liked: Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Beautiful building and grounds and the rooms were gorgeous. Breakfast was great and lunch in the lounge bar was excellent.
Disliked: The evening meal was hugely overpriced for what it was. The food was jut OK but we expected a lot better for the price charged. £38 for a small piece of cod in a bit of chowder and three small clams - not good.

Liked: The Hotel was grand and spacious with lots of period features, but very warm and welcoming. There were plenty of staff on hand who were exceptionally attentive and very good at what they do.

Liked: It was a lovely place and very friendly staff. However, I booked this place based on the fact that it has a lovely SPA. Sadly, the SPA was not as I expected. The saunas were only for 2 people and were placed in ladies' and gentlemen's changing rooms. Everything else was great.

Great relaxing getaway!!

Liked: People!! Everyone was super nice and all the employees were super helpful and respectful! The dinner we had at the Bar was delightful and was really good quality (the main restaurant was fully booked). Breakfast was great as well and it would come in a ready made plate so everything was fresh.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: Amazing food, really lovely staff, super comfy beds and beautiful surroundings.
Disliked: Expensive considering the facilities weren’t great.

Liked: I liked the style of the property ideal for mine and my partners 8 years anniversary. Front of house staff were amazing really polite and helpful
Disliked: Treatment women looked us up and down as a young couple and made up feel like scum bags. Also people not even staying at the hotel couldn’t stop giving dirty looks really put a negative vibe on our anniversary sadly wouldn’t book again due to this sadly some people think they are above others
