Liked: The room was very well equipped and the beds were comfy but the room was way too hot! Tried using the controls and just couldn’t get the temperature down. I should have popped down to reception but I just assumed it would cool down eventually. It didn’t and by then it was too late!

Nice hotel. Air con teething...

Liked: New and clean. Very comfortable bed, lovely duvet and pillows.
Disliked: Room was extremely hot with no working air con. However, they did move us to a ground floor cooler room on second night. Air con still didn’t work though.

Disliked: Evening restaurant across the car park, Sawyers chain, limited menu

Stay away

Disliked: Air conditioning in 4 rooms that they made me try were not working. Temperature in those rooms were between 25 and 28C. Finally after I did all the leg work and found a room with a decent temperature, I moved into that new room at 9pm, but I couldn't get dinner, the local restaurant kitchen had closed. The worse hotel I have ever been to. And Booking knows how many hotels I've been to. I do not recommend this Ty hotel in Magor.
