A hidden Bryson City gem!
Liked: My room was super clean and cozy! My window looked out at the river. I wanted so badly to see a bear or elk, but I won't fault the proprietors for my wildlife disappointment! Haha! The Polar Express was running at the time of my stay, so it was charming to watch the train lit with Christmas lights go by in the evening. I was by myself, but I felt very safe.
Disliked: That I wasn't staying for a longer time.

Excellent hotel for the price
Liked: Beautiful view of mountains and river. Friendly staff and very clean room. Amenities were reasonable.

Liked: Going back in time to an old school motel.
Disliked: Not sure about the validity of the reviews. House keeping needs to improve( torn lino, freezer needed defrosting, drainage in bathtub/shower needs attention).

Liked: Very nice, quite location. We had the double queen room with a river view and it was perfect for our stay. The room was super clean , the beds were comfortable, and the towels were super soft. The covered fire pit by the river was very nice with the benches and swings, very relaxing. The staff was very helpful and polite and made for a very enjoyable stay. The location is great, just a few miles from Bryson City or Cherokee. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Disliked: Nothing.
