Beautiful hideaway in the heart...
Liked: The location and tranquility of the cabins really gave you a sense that you were amongst the natural wonders of the Hunter
Disliked: The cabins are slightly older in terms of decor but this does add to its character

Needs maintenance
Liked: The location is perfect. The property is spacious
Disliked: Old and outdated. The beds have no support left, and I woke with a sore back, that was the worst part, not being able to sleep well.. Carpets are so old and the cabins are falling apart, there is dire need for maintenance. There is no updated tech, so everything is very basic, no WiFi or smart TV, not the worst thing but makes a bit hard to entertain a little one. The bathroom is old, poor shower head with a shower curtain that's been there for a long time. The spot itself is lovely and has huge potential, but the place is just run down and neglected.

Great accommodation!
Liked: Day 1 free breakfast provided,. Wild kangaroos roam around the plantation in front of our cottage and they do not come close to us, give us a good safety distance to view them. Cottage to cottage distance is good giving us privacy.
Disliked: No internet in the cottage.

little disappointing for the cost
Liked: great location..only minutes by car to wineries, pubs and shops
Disliked: number of power points not working...number of lights not working...no hangers for clothes..this could be an amazing cabin, but it needs a little TLC..looks like it has been lacking maintenance for a while

A writer's paradise.
Liked: It was quiet and secluded but also near to tourist attractions.
Disliked: I was worried about returning after dark as the kangaroos were active. I drove slowly and all was good.
