Liked: The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. A couple of staff members were very helpful.
Disliked: We were charged a resort fee. Okay, fine. They had robes in the room to use at the hot springs/pool area. Then, when you use that amenity, they charge you $5 to wash the robe. Why is that not included in the resort fee? Was charged for my service dog. Took 3 calls to get the charge removed. Room was in need of an update.

Liked: Obviously the location can’t be beat. Ryan has done a fantastic job over the years in what he has added to the property, from the pool and hot tubs to the restaurant it truly is an incredible property.
Disliked: The value received for the “honeymoon suite” was a serious miss. Almost a $400 room, an advertised kitchenette, and yet… not a single bit of silverware (or plastic ware) in the entire suite. Not even a drawer to put a few utensils in. I have stayed at $90 rooms with kitchenettes that offered more options, this didn’t even have the basics. The lack of attention to detail in this suite was pretty surprising…. My gf and I ordered one meal from the restaurant and one of our to go containers filled up the trash can entirely…. Now what do we do with our trash? Now we just have trash laying around on the counters… Wild to refer to something as a honeymoon suite and yet I can even get a fork or a decent trash can. Everything I tried to “use” in the room wasn’t user friendly, see the trash can example. Also, there were no towels for the pool in our room. Again, I’m not a picky person but I understand basic customer service and I sure didn’t feel like I even received the basics… not how you want to feel when you spend almost $400. Finally, and granted this is a small point, but there was no obvious way to order room service from the mineshaft online. I had to call and talk to Jordan and he promised there was a way. So I hung up and tried again, whether I chose delivery or pick up it wouldn’t take the room number for room service. So after putting my order in, I called down and spoke to Amber to make sure someone realized my order was for room service. She was very polite and told me it was no problem that it would be brought up in “15-20 minutes”…. 45 mins later she calls the room to tell my order is ready at the front desk….. I kindly remind her it was for room service and she says she will bring it right up. Over ten minutes pass before our food arrives and of course it’s cold. $96 for cold food, pretty disappointing. I spent right at $500 on my stay at Twin Peaks between the food and the room, I definitely don’t feel like the experience came close to the price I paid.

Liked: The pools are amazing, clean and updated. The breakfast buffet was extensive. The location of the hotel is close to main street and the Box Canyon.
Disliked: The rooms are a bit dated and the parking a little far from some of the rooms.

Liked: I like the set up, the temperatures of the pools; clean rooms great food. Overall, great!
Disliked: The kiosk's to check in were down; the lobby was full of people and the poor girl was training. The young man did his best to get everyone checked in.
