A rule based experience -...

Liked: Stayed in the room with a balcony and it was nice and comfortable. I would go back but have to say that I found check in a little stressful - this seems to be a rule-based sort of place where the rules are explained (in writing) in a slightly threatening tone which is off putting. There is a need to present the physical card used for booking, authorise a deposit etc as others have explained. Front desk communication style can come across as rather stern / a bit unfriendly.

Very nice hotel and not...

Liked: Very nice welcome when we arrived before check-in time. Had a choice of four rooms. Ideally placed within five minutes walk of Earls Court underground tube station.
Disliked: Room is pretty cosy.

Liked: I liked the very friendly staff and my room which had been newly renovated. And the hotel is very conveniently positioned for me.
Disliked: The room was slightly on the small side, though that really wasn't a problem, just made getting into bed at night a bit of a problem! And to be honest, the shower was a little on the small side. Even I couldn't move in it too much!And the bathroom mirror - poor little 5ft2 minus me just couldn't see into it! Far too high for me
