The Tumbling Weir is a small family-run hotel in tranquil rural settings 15 miles from Exeter and the Jurassic Coast. Good location. Easy walking distance...

Liked: Lovely, warm welcome. Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Excellent vegetarian break.

Great food, great hosts and...

Liked: Both breakfast and dinner were lovely. Freshly cooked using local ingredients.
Disliked: It would be nice to have a bar open to be able to sit and have a drink while winding down.

Friendly, cosy and welcoming small...

Liked: Great location, period property. Food was really good, particularly breakfast - as someone who is gluten intolerant, I appreciated the range of gf options. Great ambience in the cosy sitting room. Staff were really friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Disliked: TV was small but I'm more of a book reader anyhow.
