Very pleasant and comfortable stay

Liked: It was full of history and very appropriate for our first night in Scotland.
Disliked: We were on the fourth floor but there were no lifts!!

Over priced.

Liked: Dog friendly.
Disliked: WiFi not reaching the bedroom. Need a booster. Plastic cups in bathroom not properly washed.(When held up to light, lip marks of last guest observable) Check-in time too late in the day. Check out an hour too early.

Exceeded my expectations in every...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, the staff were very welcoming, and went above what I would expect from them at every opportunity. The ground floor communal areas were great to be able to sit in on an evening.
Disliked: Rooms were chilly, understandable of course (made up for with the additional space heater included in the wardrobe) Shower wasn’t very powerful and took a long time to heat up.
