A cosy corner of the...

Liked: A very cosy corner of the world - very comfortable (lovely mattress), good shower and very tasty food (we had a lovely breakfast). Parking was easy too - and there were chargers so we needn't have worried! We also enjoyed our packed lunches.
Disliked: Better pillows

Lovely Wye Valley stay location

Liked: Very nice place to stay for the countryside of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. It was in easy reach of visiting locations of interest such as Symonds Yat and Tintern Abbey with 3 nights being just right
Disliked: The two main dislikes were ( although able ) our room was an attic in the lovely old original house but access was via two steep spiral staircases. Something to be aware of when booking.The restaurant dining was superb but be aware of the very pricey menu which is repeated each day.

For a stay in February...

Liked: Breakfast choice was good and location suited our plans for visiting local places. Very welcoming and obliging staff.
Disliked: small room at top of hotel is very limited in head height as to be expected in an old property but did cause some issues and we are not tall people. spiral staircase up required great care, especially coming down.

Extremely relaxing within beautiful surroundings....

Liked: Breakfast was superb. Lots of choice and all the food was from local suppliers. We bought some of the lime marmalade as it was delicious and made locally. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the food was divine and 5 star.The accommodation was gorgeous. Very comfortable and beautifully designed. We had a roll top bath within the room and 5 star facilities.
Disliked: Nothing, this boutique hotel is a gem. We were looked after so well and looking forward to staying here again.
