Excellent staff all around. Friendly and engaging every time we stay here. Everyone from the front desk to house keeping are top notch. On this stay Roberto and GM Joseph Macedo went above and beyond. TRYP Newark is the only place we will stay for our yearly visit back home.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

When we got to our room there was only one bed (thought I booked 2 beds); no chair and we had what looked like dried blood on our light switch! Called the front desk. They changed our room. We still had only 1 bed and when I pulled the bedding down there was hair in the bed. We were exhausted and made the best of it. Hoping never to go back!

Good hotel.

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located, the beds are comfortable, the room was cleaned perfectly every day and it was quiet.
Disliked: I would like a microwave and a refrigerator in the room.

Enjoyable and Conmfortable Stay

Liked: Pros: The bedroom size is acceptable, especially the bathroom is very spacious. The facilities are sufficent and it is clean generally. Location is okay, near the Newark airport with the convenient hotel shuttle to the AirTrain station. There is a 10-minute walking distance to the train station which gives 30 minutes to reach to the center Mahattan. Cons: Not have many except it is a quite long distance to walk to the station.

Great Place for NYC and...

Liked: Rooms large with large windows for viewing the city. Decor in rooms and common areas was very appealing. The hotel is a short walk from Penn Station making travel to NYC easy. In addition they can shuttle residents to the station or to the airport.
Disliked: I would have liked at least one chair in the room - a bench seat was not to comfortable for TV of desk work.
