I stayed at the Trylon hotel - it's close to everything. I had a great time. I would recommend the Trylon hotel to anybody.

Liked: It was a nice place; room was clean; the bed was comfy; the staff was friendly and very helpful; it was very close to the Hollywood Bowl for the Janet Jackson concert. I had an awesome time I'd recommend the Trylon hotel to anyone I recommend the trylon hotel to anyone within walking distance to just about anything Hollywood Walk of Fame, Pantages Theater, Chinese Theater - you name it. Liked: Perfect location for Hollywood sites, Griffith Park, Hollywood Bowl. Easy on and off freeway. Nice older hotel not renovated but quite charming. A good value for great location.

Liked: Dirty place. The first room they gave me had a terrible smell. Rusty pipes. Dirty sheets. The air conditioning didn’t work. Parking costs €20 per day… The only good thing was the location, but I don’t recommend staying in Hollywood as it’s also quite unsafe. Look for something in the Fairfax area, it’s much better.

Ok for a very short...

Liked: The location to Hollywood boulevard was great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Full fridge in the room.
Disliked: Our bed only had a thin sheet so I was pretty cold both nights. Would have preferred a proper duvet. Bed was hard & worried I wouldn’t sleep but was actually ok. Room is dated but when we arrived, staff were painting so think they are in the process of sprucing it up.
