Disliked: Door to room hard to open after unlocking and will not close and lock .toilet seat broken, paint scratched off flush handle. Blinds taped together with scotch tape. Sink stopper broken so sink wouldn't drain. The door to room not shutting was really a big security risk to me, as I noticed several rooms with this problem and people asleep that didn't even realize there doors where not secure !

Liked: I have stayed at this Tru multiple times and the staff is always friendly and helpful. We always enjoy the breakfast, and it is just enough for those of us who want a quick bite and then get back on the road. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, which is one of the reasons we like Tru. For the most part, we were happy with this stay.
Disliked: One elevator out of order, which made for long wait times. Being in the facility operations business, I realize that things happen and equipment breaks. Others might not be so forgiving. The Carolina Panthers/Clemson exhibition game was the night before, so the hotel was busy. Half of the parking lot was closed off because they were re-striping it. Seems like bad planning since I'm sure the management was aware of the exhibition game that week. There was no backup plan for parking. That would be the only negative comment I have for the staff. We got to the hotel late after a six and half hour drive. I asked the front desk about parking since they only had half of the parking lot available, and it was full. I was told, " Wherever I could find parking." Not really what I wanted to here after six hours on the road and my family sitting in the car. One last thing. The ac vents in the lobby had condensation on them, which was dripping onto the floor.
