Liked: The staff was great. Breakfast was good. My second room they moved to was in all appearances was much nicer.
Disliked: Location was hard to locate.it numbers off the George Bush freeway only to find it one block inland. First room had a bad heating system and room appeared to be substandard.

Liked: Where should I begin. There was issues with heater, kept running never came on/off making the room toasted and very uncomfortable to sleep. The building in whole was very cold, not heat running thru out. I thinking this is why the heater pulled so hard and never went off, due to the cold draft coming under the door from the ice cold hall way. My grandkids couldn't go swimming in the indoor pul if we were to. The Internet/Wi-Fi connection was bad. Could not access any movies to watch. Had to keep going to desk for help to connect the password that was incorrect when giving at check in. Just a mess for a first time visit and last time visit

Totally excited... until

Liked: I really wanted to like this hotel. I even spent extra to be across the street from the venue for TNA. The front desk woman at night was super sweet and welcoming... and cute haha. Breakfast was a bit skimpy but it's there. Can't complain. It's free. I do like that they have a 24 hour gym. The lobby is very welcoming and has a great setup. Anyway, now for the bad part.
Disliked: Well, at first it was amazing. Quickly turned bad and stayed bad. All night, both nights there was continuous stomping and slamming on the floor above me. 4 hours each night. I got 5 hours of sleep in 2 days because parents don't have any awareness or the disciplinary skills to calm their kids down. All hotels should have a rule that if you have kids, FIRST FLOOR! Not just for disturbing others but for evacuation situations if needed. I found a roach in my room, the light above my shower had black stuff around it that looked like mold and the "clean" body towel was damp and yes it was folded and placed on the top of the other towels like they didn't even attempt to wash it. Disgusting! Another big issue was the very noisy housekeepers yelling at each other across the hall early in the morning adding more of a sleep disturbance to my already sleepless stay. Next time I'm paying a little less to stay somewhere else. I'll take sleep over convenience any day. Ridiculous.
