Liked: There wasn't much I liked about my stay here. I'm currently disabled and requested a room for disabilities, the doors are heavy and difficult to open, I couldn't enjoy the breakfast bc I have no free hands and rely on a walker, facility is non smoking, and no easy access to ice cubes for cold drinks
Disliked: No sitting sofa no microwave in the room.

Liked: Location is center of great dining. 20 mins from Padre island.
Disliked: Room entrance doors slam shut all thru out the floor. You’ll be disturbed all night and early morning.

Liked: Will never return to this hotel. Hotel staff very disrespectful when issues come up. No manager on site.
Disliked: Very disappointed with Tru, when we arrived after waiting about 8-10 minutes at the front desk because the front desk guy was not there, I found out Booking.com didn’t send my reservation to the hotel, the hotel didn’t get my reservation, the front desk guy (Tray?) was not helpful at all, after I asked for the manager many times, he got someone on the phone stating he was the manager, he did not offer any resolution either, manager was very disrespectful, his tone of voice clearly sounded that he didn’t care and for me to resolve the issue on my own. Went to the hotel next door Spring Hill, found out it’s the same owner for both hotels but different management. The front desk guy there was very helpful, he offered to call someone to make a complaint (unsure if he was being sarcastic with my whole situation) but I was still grateful that he had a room available and ready in such short notice. Also very difficult to get a hold of Booking.com
