Great location. Terrible customer service

Disliked: Check in process was horrible. Arrived 10 minutes after 3:00 and was told no one could check in because housekeeping hadn't released any rooms. Was told it would be another 30 minutes or possibly longer. They didn't offer to hold my bags or text me when a room was available. Basically the front desk staff couldn't have cared less about customer service.

Liked: The room was very smartly laid out with tons of hooks and storage space. The location in Gowanus was very convenient for me and there are many breweries nearby. I didn’t use the common spaces but they looked good. Check in staff were super friendly.
Disliked: Cleaning could have been a little more thorough but not worth complaining about.

Disliked: My room was located near an exit door so it was very noisy with staff and other guests open and closing the door all hours of the night. Additionally, the breakfast oatmeal was basically water & flakes. Whomever was in charge of breakfast on Sep 30, 2024 was an EPIC FAIL!

Liked: Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast; it was good; location was excellent.
Disliked: Room temperature. We set the thermostat to a cooler temperature in each room, but it either reset to a higher temperature overnight or it turned off altogether. I did not realize that until I awoke the following morning.
