Saw a different side of Detroit on this trip. Being from the West side of Michigan I have not been impressed with the Detroit area in the past. I guess I was just on the wrong side of the tracks on prior visits.

Liked: Clean and friendly. Atmosphere.
Disliked: None come to mind.

Liked: We arrived at midnight, and the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Despite the late hour, she made us feel comfortable and at ease, handling everything like a true professional.

Disliked: Place is under construction so there is no breakfast which booking.com needs to update and let people be aware that there is no breakfast or pool and is under construction. Don't blame the hotel for this. I blame booking.com. I think I will book through a different site from now on

Liked: Location did not have our reservation booking charged my card as agreed we are disputing charge had to get room with my friends card to get room property was under a TOATL rebuild no breakfast no pool upon arrival front desk was rude and informed us that we should never use 3rd party to book always call direct and to tell booking that we stayed elsewhere and lie to booking that and made us use my friends credit card so I could get refund from booking extremely unethical on their part please refund my deposit I love using booking please contact property about this thank you Dave Vorhes
