Nice few days.

Liked: It was everything we expected it to be.Rooms ok. Restaurant, bar, entertainment.
Disliked: A lot of coach trippers at this hotel, but it was never a problem. Sandown needs some investment, but this hotel is ok. Good value.

Superb

Liked: Lovely sea view and clean.The bar was relaxing, drinks very good price.Parking was available at £5 / day and handy.Food was very average and reminded me of school dinners a bit.There is a cafe called the beach cafe round the corner would recommend. We would stay again but not eat there.

Perfectly pleasant traditional beachfront hotel

Liked: Location fabulous, right on the front. There were beds and the room was as described. It was clean and well-maintained and the staff doing the daily cleans were efficient. It was perfectly adequate as a base for a short break.
Disliked: Staff were adamant that we could not book a second room, despite Booking.com clearly stating availability. There was a group booking of line dancers one night and some coach parties another but not sure all the rooms were full. Shower was a hand-held over a bath which wasn't great plus hot water took 10 minutes to come through to our bathroom on the 4th floor. Breakfast had to be booked in advance and they stopped serving at 9.30am on a Sunday which seemed early but there was a lovely cafe round the corner. Tiny lift which always seemed occupied with line dancers.
