Very good

Liked: Great location on a lovely high street Comfortable room
Disliked: When I went to check out, reception said I had t paid the bill. Fortunately I located the email which said I did. The receptionist didn’t apologise. If I hadn’t found the email we would have had to pay twice.

A pleasant stay in lovely...

Liked: The location was perfect. The staff were absolutely delightful. The room was lovely
Disliked: The bath was like an ice rink and one of us fell out of the bath. We had to ask for a non slip bath mat.Screaming water pipes woke us up at 0500 on the day we left. It had been much worse the day we arrived! The windows couldn’t be opened.

Average

Liked: Location and parking great food smelt good but we went out for dinner. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: We asked for a twin and got a double disabled room that’s was on there terrace so people chatting outside all night. Shower was to low being 6ft and all the coffee in the room was decaf. Would give it a 2 + star. Never a 4

Please see above

Liked: Staff were very friendly
Disliked: Breakfast was awful, fire alarms went off at 11:45pm but the staff didn't know what to do! No one was there to explain what was happening and loads of us were waiting in a cold and windy car park with out being told it was safe to go back inside! There was no one on reception when we checked in and we had to go and find someone in the bar. Not what I expect of a 4 star hotel. Reading the reviews AFTER our stay it seems the place has seen better days. It's a fabulous building and it would only take a few tweaks to make it a fabulous hotel
