Liked: The hotel was very accommodating and the staff was wonderful.
Disliked: I was very disappointed with the altercation that occurred during my stay. My daughter was trampled on by the parents, and the security showed up afterward, but my daughter was traumatized by the orderal. We were going to stay an additional day but decided to leave once the incident occurred.

Getaway weekend disappointment

Liked: Loved the size of the room and bathroom.
Disliked: In the room we stayed in, in Chelsea Tower, was extremely outdated. We were fine with that- it is what it is. We don't need it to look like 2025, but compared to other rooms, it looked like the 90s. I hope they're upgrading soon because the amenities in the room were questionable. No outlets near bed to plug in phones. The area to plug in the phone was on the opposite wall from the bed. Minor inconvenience, but if we wanted an alarm on our dead phones, we couldn't charge it at the same time. We had two lamps- great! Took my husband and me 10 minutes how to figure it out how to turn them on. It's a 90s style mini box on the wire you had to roll to turn on/off.We had no hot water for the two days we stayed; it was luke warm at best.. very disappointing. A prior occupants toothpaste container was left in the shower as well as a dirty rag on the night stand when we came in.The mini fridge did not work. We put a gallon of water in there Friday afternoon at 4 and Saturday evening at 6 it was not cold at all.Coffee maker was in the room- yay! Love coffee... but no cups to use. All we had were the plastic water cups so we did not use it.The room was very musty. The heating/cooling unit did not appear to work the best. We put it on the coldest setting (mind you it was only 35 degrees outside), and it barely made a difference in the room. With the heat on, it was muggy and not comfortable at all.I know some of you are reading this and are probably thinking why didn't you say anything to the front desk or get what you were missing if it was that important to you.. My husband and I don't like to make a stink about things. We were there 2 nights and it wasn't the end of the world. We aren't looking to make a stink or to change rooms (because let's face it, some other unfortunate soul would then get it), but you would think for the price you're paying you'd be better taken care of.

Liked: The food at the restaurants was great
Disliked: The view was not good, the room was cool and we couldn't turn up the heat. After informing front desk, no one came to fix heater. The lighting was too dim and couldn't brighten up the room. No ice could be found within 3 floors.

Horrible never again

Disliked: Dirty our room had blood on the wall our ac didn’t work we were sweating in the room called for service nothing was done

Pleasant

Liked: I love the convenient location to the event we were there for all the restaurants and accommodations.
Disliked: Our last night there we had a fire alarm alert at 3:00 in the morning with a mandatory evacuation. We exited the building down 48 flights of stairs at which point we were told. Oh sorry false alarm. Somebody pulled the fire alarm nowhere in our 48 flight. Descent anyone thought to let us know it was a false alarm . Very discouraging when we had a 6:00 a.m. Wake up for a flight out..
