Liked: Excellent staff, great location super walkable to the beach and restaurants, and comfortable bed
Disliked: Price was high for a 2 star hotel, there wasn’t much noise insulation

Liked: I loved the location and the property. Jessica, Pedro, and Veronika were soo helpful and patient with me. I truly enjoyed my stay. My room windows had a lot of natural light.
Disliked: If there’s a way to put a cover on the bathroom window. Whenever I left the bathroom door open, the light was very bright.

Excellent space and would stay...

Liked: The staff was absolutely wonderful! Room was perfect and clean, very comfortable. We were so close to the main street and the beach and walked everywhere. It felt very safe.
Disliked: The pool is very small and hardly counts as a pool, but it is so close to the beach that we did not mind at all.

Would certainly recommend the Tropica...

Liked: After nearly 24 hours traveling from the UK via the New York we arrived in San Juan in the early morning hours, tired and anxious at the prospect of 1am hotel check-in we needn’t have worried, the process was quick and easy, soon in our bed, the Trópica Beach was just what was required for our short stay before moving on with our adventure in Puerto Rico. A short distant from the airport, not a huge bemouth of hotel, but a really nice boutique feel, in nice area, and right next to a fantastic beach, which was absolutely great for blowing away the travel blues and finding somewhere to top up our tanks. Would certainly recommend the Tropica Beach as your stop-over in San Juan, helped us refresh and relax immensely, a short distance from the airport, or into the old town, and lastly a big shout out to the friendly, helpful staff, Jessica on reception, who was a wealth of information to us, and Jose at the Bar, who was also superb.
Disliked: We had nothing to complain about at all.
