Disappointed

Liked: The venue was great. Some of the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: We were booked for a whānau wedding. As a whānau we had booked a number of rooms 10 so a lot of money was generated from us. The service on Friday night at dinner wasn’t the most friendly. We were chased by 3 staff members to pay a bill for a table we weren’t at. This was very embarrassing and unacceptable. I politely asked if we could possibly have a conference room for a few hours for hair and makeup. This was declined On Sunday at breakfast due to the number of families coming down. I asked for some tables to be combined. This was reluctantly done. During our time at breakfast there were a number of family members coming and join us. To be honest we were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest who was paying top dollar along with each and every other family member. Sadly the next family function I’m not sure if we would recommend trinity. It was embarrassing we had whānau that had never been to nz before and this is how they saw your staff treating us. Disappointed

Liked: Location was the best the bed was soo comfy and the service was great
Disliked: Bath tub, and no kitchenette

Liked: The room was comfy.
Disliked: The restaurant and food were not value for money. Also had a very annoying person in the hotel who decided to play lounge music at 3:00am in morning outside in hallway.

Review

Liked: Facilities such as the pool and gym are amazing, everything was very clean. Beds and pillows are super comfy, the shower and bath are a good size.
Disliked: The price is steep

Liked: Love how big the bathroom was and how big the bed was. Saw the pool at the last minute, we arrived in the evening so was too late to go swimming
Disliked: Everything met our expectation, would of been good to have a microwave in room.. will definatly stay another time

Nothing to be proud of.

Liked: Public areas quite nice but the actual rooms, etc. not so much.
Disliked: Quality of the rooms. Since it is not near restaurants eating breakfast at the hotel desireable but they serve a $15 buffet breakfast for twice the price. Either increase the quality or reduce the price.
