Great rooms, terrible breakfast

Liked: Room was clean modern and functional. Rooms were also some of the quietest I’ve ever been in- no doors slamming or corridor noise at all! Staff were happy to store our luggage for us until our room was ready
Disliked: The breakfast which we purchased as part of the room price was a big disappointment. I appreciate a Saturday morning at 9am is peak breakfast time, however pretty much every food item has run out and wasn’t ever fully restocked in the hour and a half we were there. There was just two very slow selves serve coffee machines which we gave up queuing for in the end too. We paid nearly £50 for two breakfasts and all we had was row small orange juices, a couple of bits of melon and a slice of plain toast (no butter or jam left!). Equally for the size of the hotel, the dining area is tiny - would recommend the hotel as guests to book a time slot to control food and business. It really put a dampener on our stay

Disliked: The bar and restaurant closed for private party. This is not right when we are paying for a hotel with facilities. I couldnt even get a coffee or drink from the bar - really?
