Liked: This property is under renovations but it is a place to keep an eye on because it is in the making to be REALLY nice !! A great place for small or large groups with lots of amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful . Location is good
Disliked: Is under construction but still was a nice place

Perfect little getaway!

Liked: Townsend is the most beautiful area of the smokies. This was our first time staying at Tremont and everything was perfect. Can’t wait for the renovations to be completed, I know we will definitely be back ❤️

Liked: Excellent location and very friendly staff. The room and breakfast room were very clean and the shower was the best we’ve had in 5 weeks in the US.
Disliked: The pillows were too thick

Liked: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Tremont. The room was fine, although very dark, but we had an experience I would like to comment on. We arrived at 3:15 after having been caught in a rainstorm hoping to check into our room a little early (4:00 is official check-in time). The clerk said our room was not ready and said we would have to wait until 4:00pm, and she did not want to have to charge us an "early check-in fee". My wife and I have been taking three major vacations a year for over 20 years and have stayed in literally hundreds of motels, hotels, etc. We have asked for and early check-in a handful of times over the years for various reasons and have never heard the phrase, "early check-in fee". Tremont is a large motel with many rooms.
