Little hidden hotel

Liked: The hotel was beautiful, we stayed in the executive suite and was amazing, the bath was out of this world. Food was amazing and the restaurant was lovely, easy parking and staff were all very friendly and helpful
Disliked: The bar area was a little roudy and loud. Groups of local football/rugby team. We took our drinks back to the room to relax as wasn't quite the atmosphere we were looking for. Shame there isn't much in Tredegar

Great clean modern hotel good...

Liked: Excellent breakfast hotel clean service good.Very comfortable room very comfy bed.
Disliked: Noise in the mornings from refrigeration maybe from external delivery trucks!

Overall it's a very good...

Liked: Breakfast and location. Helpful manager on arrival.
Disliked: Room 9 should have an extra lamp because areas of the room were unlit. More care needs to be taken with cooking steak for evening meals as my partner's steak was grisly and tough and expensive. My partner had to ask for the correct breakfast after receiving the incorrect one. He then received it.

Lovely hotel / pub, great...

Liked: Good location in centre of town. Parking available. The food and drinks at the bar were of good quality and very inexpensive, a handy couple of pubs near by. All the bedrooms we booked were very comfortable, and you must have the full Welsh breakfast its fantastic. Not to far away from the Brecon Beacons for walks.
Disliked: Sad public transport is very poor, not much of a bus service and no train station. Rhymney or Ebbw Vale railway station in near by valleys then taxi / bus.
