Disliked: I have some food restrictions. It took a lot of persuasion for the cook to make me an omelette, that was not on the menu. When it came, it was delicious!

Lovely venue for a break....

Liked: We had a really lovely time here. The staff were friendly and relaxed. We booked a superior room overlooking the front of the grounds and it absolutely met our expectations. Wewere also there during storm Daragh (7th Dec) and the hotel and spa were a perfect hideaway. The price we paid was £367 for two nights including Breakfast and it was money well spent.If I was to get a little picky..I'd say better and softer pillows in the rooms.. but that's a very individual view of course.. next time I'll bring my own! But that is by no way a reflection on the venue.. it's just my needs. I would hope that the restaurant charges is menu in a regular basis so that next time there are other options available.. not because there is anything wrong because the food was lovely and worth the money with portion sizes being great. I feel it's just good to experience new things so the menu doesn't get boring. But honestly, the food was fab. We will definitely come again
Disliked: As above.. pillows could be better. Easy fix.. just bring your own. Maybe, the chairs in the bar and the really low tables could be improved.. not my view but my wife's view..I was happy chilling with a beer so as an ex soldier, I could have been sitting on a milk crate and I would have been happy lol.
