Worst hotel experience ever

Liked: I like the room but the cleanliness was not the greatest I had to scrub the jacuzzi tub with bathtub cleaner before I could even use it because of the clearly visible body oil build up along the sides of it.
Disliked: What I didn't like was getting an email at 6:45 in the morning a day into my 2-day reservation telling me that my reservation was canceled, unfortunately I'm not a regular checker of my email and didn't receive it until about 2:00 in the afternoon when I went to the office and to find out what was going on and was informed that my reservation had been canceled the rest of my stay because I had a local address and they refuse to refund any of my money. I'm homeless and this was a big expenditure for me but the weather here has been so cold that I needed to be inside and as the front desk clerk was kicking me out into the middle of a blowing snow storm he told me that he was also homeless. With them not refunding any of my money I was unable to find any other accommodation so that I could be indoors through this brutal cold spell. Shame on you Travelodge, Wyndham and booking.com, basic human decency and kindness should not depend on the ZIP code on your ID

Disliked: The staff was never available at the front desk. I even did online check out so that all he had to do was just take my key and he just had me drop it at the front desk after I had to call him to ask him what he needed me to do. We didn't check out or check in at unreasonable times - but still he wasn't there. The toilet in our bathroom was still dirty, as well as the floor not being vacuumed there was pet hair all over the floor.
