meh hotel, with rubbish parking

Liked: I had to book this on short notice and for the time i looked it was the best price in the area. The staff were nice in particular the boy at the front desk was very lovely. Some nice shops next door. Good accessible bathroom, on the accessibility room.
Disliked: Small lift if you have a wheelchair you will struggle. My biggest issue is the parking, what they don't tell you is that its rented spaces from the gated parking behind the hotel. Which you can only access by an alleyway as they don't have access form the hotel into the parking. You also have to borrow a gate fob from the staff to open and close it. So if you are a wheel chair user you are out of luck. If you are a person traveling alone and don't want to have to walk down a dark alley, don't go out at night. You also cant take the fob with you, as they require it to be returned. So you have to get your stuff, walk round the corner down a dark alley to the gate at the end. Open it with the fob, walk down the car ramp to your car. Then get in, drive it up the car ramp, fob the gate open again. Then park in the alleyway. Go into the hotel and give them back the fob, before you can drive anywhere. Its just a bit ridiculous and not accessible at all tbh.

Liked: Travelodge does what it says on the tin. Ive used before so I know what to expect.
