We never should have stayed...

Liked: We chose to stay at this motel because we were going to arrive late and leave early and this motel was inexpensive. We had to travel 3.5 hours to be able to pick-up a copy of my husband's birth certificate. The place we needed to go to pick-up a copy of my husband's birth certificate was across the street from this motel. We were at the office that provides the birth certificates at 8:15 a.m. (that is the time they open.) We then raced to the Chicago Suburbs to try to get there before it started snowing in that area. We both didn't get much sleep in this motel room. The entire trip was unpleasant.
Disliked: I have a lot of trouble with being able to fall asleep and stay asleep. This motel room had a light and exhaust fan that kicked-on automatically when you walked into the bathroom. That light was bright and that fan was loud. I walked into that bathroom at 3:00 a.m. I was never able to fall asleep again after 3:00 a.m. Last fall I learned that my entire digestive system was irritated and inflamed because as I have aged my body can no longer tolerate gluten or lactose. As soon as I stopped consuming gluten and lactose last November, my symptoms cleared-up and my entire body felt much better. I thought this continental breakfast would have some orange juice, apple juice or bananas. This continental breakfast has absolutely nothing I could consume. There was 3 slices of white bread and some danish. We had to leave right away so we could go to a McDonalds so I could get a big breakfast with no pancakes. The toilet in this motel room had a major drip. I laid a garbage bag under the drip. My husband turned the water to the toilet off completely. We had to keep turning the water back on so we could flush the toilet. We wished we would have spent a little more money to stay at a different motel so we would have been able to sleep, flush the toilet and have something we could eat in the morning.

Liked: Bathrooms was awesome
Disliked: we had no heat all day and night . Only cold air blowing out we told them but nothing was done to fix it .

Great value stay in Terre...

Liked: Room was clean, comfortable...grounds were well kept. Room was easily accessible from parking lot. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast was lacking...no coffee at 7:30 in the AM.

The stay was perfect for...

Liked: The location was good. Staff was nice. The place was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing to say bad about the property.

Do not stay here!!

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: When I arrived at the property I noticed several people that appeared to be living there. I went to the room they assigned and the door was standing wide open. I immediately noticed the TV screen was smashed. As I left the room to go and change rooms I noticed the remnants of police tape on the stairwell right outside the door. When I told the owner at the desk I was wasn’t staying he rudely told me I wouldn’t be getting my money back.
