Excellent staff, amenities need improvement

Liked: The staff was exceptionally responsive, helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The beds were uncomfortable and rooms outdated. Our room phone wasn't working, and while the staff attempted to repair it and kindly offered to have us move to a new room, we felt it would be too much of a disruption travelling with four people. The pool area could have been cleaner (ie: dirty tables and chairs), albeit it was very busy which may have made it difficult for staff to keep up. Strangely, around 7pm, two fully clothed adults in street clothes met up with three men (who appeared to be using the pool area) in the sauna prompting one guest to leave the sauna. We had to leave about 10 minutes later, and the group was still in the sauna.

Best hotel in the area

Liked: This is by far the best hotel in the region. I highly recommend the location, the owner is caring and the staff are fantastic. My room is always spotless, and there is ample parking. I’ve stayed at the 2 other hotels on Queensway prior to finding Travelodge, and I wouldn’t recommend staying at either. The gym is a pretty cool added benefit to staying here as well.

A comfortable stay!

Liked: Clean, comfortable room, convenient location, friendly staff, and functioning amenities. The onsite restaurant was an added bonus for a good breakfast prior to checkout.
Disliked: The bathroom is old and dated, but it was clean and functional.

Liked: The hotel has good facilities, including attached gym and restaurant. However, I find it is getting more expensive to stay there, with no obvious reason for the increase in price.
