Would certainly stay here again.

Liked: Beautiful rooms. Loved the laminate flooring - made the room feel very clean.
Disliked: Breakfast space could be a little larger.

Liked: The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was polite and pleasant. The locationnwas close to the event I was in town for.
Disliked: There were 2 instances where I was solicited for money, in and around the hotel. There was a large group of kids staying on my floor and I had to contact the front desk to have them settle down. They were rough housing, loud and running up and down the hallway after 10pm.

Liked: The 2nd floor was brand new. Clean & New.
Disliked: The room amenities in the room were not explained that they didn't have a microwave ... I was given access to the kitchen which was NOT explained "prior" to my registering and being charged. I appreciate the facility updating, but all guests should be notified of any inconveniences ... best to be transparent!!

Exceptional

First time visit to Oshawa,...

Liked: The location of the hotel, in conjunction to the event venue was convenient, only about 10 minutes from downtown Oshawa, ON. The room, bathroom, bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. Enjoyed a wonderful, hot bath. The staff was helpful and polite.
Disliked: The breakfast was a wee bit disappointing and the fact that you had to present a breakfast voucher was inconvenient and a bit odd. At check-in I was approached by a man with a dog who asked me to get him a cab. I was visiting and not familiar with the area so I didn't feel I was knowledgeable enough to help him- but I felt it was strange to be approached by someone in the lobby of the hotel asking for such things.

Liked: Breakfast area was nice
Disliked: Swimming pool, sauna and whirlpool were permanently closed. There was a leak outside our door. The offered us another room but it was a downgrade from the previous room. This second room smelt funny.
