Pleasant
Liked: Privacy of room. . . The upgrade of TV. . . Usually love the spa tub
Disliked: The spa tub wouldn't shut off and squirted water everywhere. He had it shut off , and all of sudden, it came back to life spraying everywhere and wouldn't shut off. We never got to use it the second night, too scared to. It had a mind of its own. . . The sink drips all night if you don't get it just right. The bed is super hard. There was no coffee machine in the room, and I had to go to the front office to get coffee

No checking in even with...
Liked: Location
Disliked: Nobody at the front desk, called the number, someone answered and asked if I had a booking, I said yes, they said no one could check me in and to go somewhere else.

I’m happy it was there...
Liked: Available when I had to stop for the night in a snow storm
Disliked: Refrig froze my water, there was a sink and counter but no visible coffeemaker - I did see something put away the next morning when I was poking around but I’m not sure if it was a water heater for tea or some sort of coffeemaker but by then I had gone out for breakfast. It would be really cheap and easy to have a small coffeemaker in the room, out where people could find it. I was frustrated by almost not being able to check in because although I had pre-paid on the Booking.com app the young man couldn’t at first figure out how to accept Apple Pay on his machine. I had to use Apple Pay as I am waiting for replacement credit cards after a lost wallet. The machine needed rebooting. That’s OK but initially I thought I was going to have to move on down the road in a snowstorm or rent a luxury room elsewhere as that is all I could find. He was pleasant, but I was tired and anxious after my drive. After I asked if I had to go elsewhere he tried the reboot and was preparing to call a manager for help. I was tired and didn’t explore the lobby on check-in. The next morning I saw that there was a stocked coffee bar in the lobby. Again after I had already gone for breakfast.

$4 per day extra cost...
Disliked: I had to pay a hidden fee of $4 per day for using a credit card. This charge did not show up anywhere when booking this room.

Pretty good for the value!
Liked: It’s a bit outdated and not the cleanest, but it’s the nicest one in Livingston that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. We always stay here now when we come to visit family, since all the others are either so dang expensive or they’re becoming roach motels.
Disliked: A little dirty, nothing too extreme. A little outdated, it doesn’t bother me.
