Enjoyable stay!
Liked: The breakfast was fine - a typical continental breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

Great value stay
Liked: Older hotel with limited amenities but super friendly and helpful staff who seem genuinely glad to see you and who are knowledgeable about the area. Considering the age of the hotel, this place punches far above its weight. Lacombe itself is a lovely town with a gorgeous historic downtownand good restaurants. We came for a bit of cycling and to pick up some items and had a thoroughly good time.

Bed comfortable, overall safe place...
Liked: Lighting was awfully dark in the main area, but good in bathroom. Quiet from road noise but a bit noisy from other people, esp from showers and flushing. Easy to get to my room from elevator. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: Dark in the room lighting not sufficient. No soap in the bathtub, but very small one by sink. Hard to get Kürerig to work. Breakfast area could use a freshening up, it wouldn’t take much to make it more modern and cozy by arranging tables differently and offering booth in perimeter around the room. Real flowers in vases in the dining area would be beautiful. If each person had a more private place to eat, it would feel better. More breakfast food options would have been welcome, eg. non-sugary cereal, boiled eggs, more protein, cheese cottage cheese and non sugar yogurt etc. Some areas on 2nd floor close to elevator had carpet areas that were worn out and frayed, posing a safety hazard, Eg. If someone caught their foot in a hole, they could fall and hurt themselves.
