Worst hotel ever!

Liked: Location
Disliked: Where to start! The hotel was filthy! There were hair shavings in the bathroom, grime on all fixtures, the tub, toilet, and sink were full of plaster and caulking, the window on the first floor opened with no lock or screen, the door handle to the adjoining room was broken and hanging, the smoke detection device was missing and wires were hanging from the ceiling, the mattress was old and stained, the bedding was uncomfortable and had burn holes in it from cigarettes, the floor was so dirty that our feet were black, the fitness room had no equipment, just stacked up old mattresses, the one check in clerk never looked up from her phone, the other clerk didn't say much so I had no idea about whatI was asked to sign, the list goes on and on. We actually left and went to another hotel.

Avoid if possible.

Liked: Quiet and good location
Disliked: The hotel had a horrible smell that clung to everything we took in. The remodel work was done poorly. Air vent for heater/air conditioner was gone. Fridge was not secure in cabinet. Stains on chairs. Floor was sticky. Door was difficult to open and close. I included my credit card when checking in online. Get to desk and get told $50 deposit for both rooms. $50 deposit was applied to card I used in online check-in AND on the cards I used at the desk when getting our key cards. No direction on where to find rooms. Asked for rooms to be adjacent and they said they would. They were on different floors. Paid $250 per room (without deposit). I think I paid this only because it was Taylor Swift weekend.

Disliked: It needs updated some. I will say they are in the process of remodeling

Disliked: It was run down hotel had to keep ask for towels I would had them my dirty towels and they wouldn’t give me none back

Liked: The lobby. The glass water fall was pretty.
Disliked: The fact that the entire place is falling apart. They should close down, finish the renovation and reopen for the public. Broken ice machine. Broken bedroom door. Hot water not working. Toilet bowl all stained, appeared unclean, bedroom bedding and curtains stained . The signage to find the place is not upfront, so had to drive around to locate. Just very uninviting.

Overall, great hotel!

Liked: Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are nice and updated. Breakfast was great. Love the design of the hotel and appreciate the several different entrances for quick access to your room.
Disliked: Could be a little cleaner. It is surface clean, but there are certainly some areas that need a deep clean also. Pool chemicals seemed a little too strong. And curtains in our room were very hard to move because they were broken, but otherwise, our stay was absolutely great!

Liked: From what I was able to see. It looks like they used stock photos or old photos when the owners cared for the building.
Disliked: The fact that the property canceled my reservation after taking more money for a guaranteed early check-in. And did not inform me until we got to the property that they canceled my reservation, that I booked and paid in full in June 2024 for an eve t in Oct 2024. And did not refund my paid in full invoice. Or my payment for the early check-in. I did call the manager who took my information and said he would call me back in a half hour. I called him 2 hours later and got his voice mail. He called me 3 hour after I called him. But I had already got another room at a different property. As I was waiting in the parking lot for a call back. I saw several other people who had much the same issue. Then, an employee chased down a guest who was checking out early due to the front desk giving a male guest a key to her room, and he walked in on her as she was dressing. So maybe it was not a bad thing I did not get to stay at this property.
