Liked: If you are going to an event at the Angel of the Winds Arena, this hotel is within walking distance. Limit your stay to a single night.
Disliked: The hotel is on an extremely noisy intersection, is very old and run down although efforts have been made to modernize it and the room was spotless. Fellow guests were very noisy, and the rooms are not even remotely soundproofed. Parking is very limited, get there early. Unfortunately, someone had been smoking in the non-smoking room I was assigned, I was originally told that was the last room but they would attempt some air freshener and airing out. Only when I arrived at the front desk with watering eyes and trouble breathing due to my smoke sensitivity did they change my room to a vacant one next door, which was much better. While I can tell that the owners are making an effort to create a good experience, the age and structure of the hotel makes that impossible.
