A/C barely worked; price booked was $188 - ended up being $277 due to $50 extra to park. For those prices remodels and upgrades are desperately needed.

Great hotel for staying downtown. Everything was so convenient and within walking distance.

Disliked: To start check in process was very long. When we got into the elevator to our floor we immediately got disappointed because you could smell marihuana in the hallway and the walls and the carpet were very old! When we got to the room it was even worse! The carpet again old, not a pleasant smell in the room, walls, doors and windows were not painted but sprayed with the same paint. There were some ugly pipes going around the room, dust on the windows. The furniture is also old and instead of queen bed we got full and could barely fit the two of us on it. The bathroom is also old fashioned and the sink was cracked. It was clean at least. Everything has a motel feel... I would not recommend staying here not for business not for family stay unless you have to. The breakfast place was good but they were late opening up few times. The staff was nice and location is good but not worth it. The pictures of the hotel and the rooms they have on the site are misleading

Liked: The location, cleanliness, and staff were excellent. There is a cafe attached to the hotel for convenient breakfast and lunch options. It felt safe and central. The staff’s friendliness and helpfulness was much appreciated.
Disliked: Nothing really- it is an old building and therefore some aging features - old sinks, not immediate hot water, older ( but very clean ) carpets, inner city views from windows. None of this mattered to us…… it was a safe, clean, convenient, quiet, central facility with comfortable beds.
