Newly renovated in August 2018 the Hotel Donauwelle is located on the banks of the Danube river offering panoramic views. All rooms feature LCD-TVs and you have free access to the spa and fitness center. Fine Austrian and international cuisine is served in the restaurant or on the riverside terrace. In summer barbecue evenings are organized and in winter mulled wine can be enjoyed on the terrace. Wellness and fitness facilities include a sauna and a rooftop terrace for unwinding. We offer rental bikes for a fee during the cycling season. The Hotel Donauwelle is located close to the Danube bike path and to the Hafenstraße exit of the A7 motorway.

Liked: The location was good for accessing tourist attractions. The facilities were good for a four-star hotel.
Disliked: The hotel had no parking, and we had to pay €18 per day for parking. The rooms were divided into two types: those facing the highway and those facing the Danube. Unfortunately, we were given a highway-facing room, which we didn't like because we're sensitive to noise.Upon arrival, there was no bottled water in the room, which was disappointing. The bathroom had no ventilation. The hotel had a bar but no café; when we ordered tea, we had to bring it to our room ourselves.This hotel is not suitable for nature lovers but is a good choice for business trips.
