Passable

Liked: The staff was very friendly and professional. The location can't get any better, especially if you arrive by train. The bed was very comfortable, the room is big and the bathroom had enough towels. Finally, the bar and restaurant on the ground floor seemed cool and cozy.
Disliked: The furniture, although beautiful, as they are antiques, are impractical. We had an old secretary that was locked and couldn't use the desk and while there were three armchairs there were not enough surfaces like a table, desk or shelves to put on things. Lastly, there were tea bags, but there wasn't a kettle.

Liked: A nice hidden gem in Zürich with a great location to explore the city! We had an awesome room, which was a great size by European standards. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

A beautiful, convenient & reasonable...

Liked: Excellent location! Only a mere few minutes of walking from Zurich HB. I love that the room was equipped with a DVD player and the reception had a DVD library - really unique for today's standards. The price seemed reasonable in comparison to a country that is known for high expenses. The staff were attentive & friendly, and I loved the little touches of fruit, water and sweets in the reception area. Overall, I would happily stay again.
Disliked: I wish the rooms were equipped with a fridge or something that could store cold drinks. Though there is an elevator between floors, there are a few steps to get from outside into the reception area. Heavy suitcase travelers beware...
