Overall nice hotel for the...
Liked: I was traveling with a 6 month old, so it was really nice to have a suite with a kitchen, and all the extra space. We were in the detached building across from the main lobby, I'm not sure how many people were in this other building because it was completely silent. We never saw or heard another person over our two day stay. So either everything is soundproofed very well, or it was a slow week. Either way, very pleasant!Breakfast was good, if you've had a free hotel breakfast you know what to expect, it's on the upper end of what I've had in the past. But the staff was always around, checking on the supply levels, making sure the area was clean!
Disliked: There were a couple snags here and there.First, the bathroom door couldn't lock, it looked like the catch was misaligned with the handle. Not too big a deal.Cosmetically, there were several parts around the room where the paint was bubbling and melting off the wall. Like, a few square feet worth. Just made it feel a tiny bit cheaper. The biggest thing was that there was an issue with the amount of homeless people on the property. There was a man passed out right outside the door when we walked over to breakfast, and then in the actual breakfast area there was a homeless man just sorta standing in the middle, staring at everyone and coughing aggressively. He'd cough, walk over to the oatmeal. Go back to his standing spot right next to the food counters, cough and stare some more. The staff was aware, but maybe it's impolite to ask someone if they're a guest of the hotel even if they clearly aren't? He was there the entire time me and my family were, just kinda staring at us.
