Liked: It’s beautiful from the inside to the the outside and the staff was AMAZING

Disliked: you took 250 USD for security deposit and told me i will take it back via my card after 4 weeks from the checkout date, and till now, i didn't get it . please send me my money . thanks

Liked: Great location. Breakfast was good. The brought out second savings.

A good stay

Liked: The staff were lovely and the rooms were very clean. The location was okay, definitely getting better compared to the past, just be vigilant at night (recommend taking a taxi/uber).
Disliked: The front door to the room had a huge gap at the bottom which meant that people could look into your room if they wanted to, this can be scary for solo travellers or any young people.

Liked: The staff bent over backwards to help. The location of the hotel was great too, close to the subway and good amenities close by
Disliked: The accessible shower seat should be closer to the shower unit. It was very difficult to use

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff...

Liked: Good sized and well appointed room, with comfortable beds and a well sized bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast provided a decent range of hot and cold food. Whilst the area around the hotel isn't the most modern, the hotel is close to a range of food options and within 5 minutes walk of the subway, with direct connections to Manhattan and Queens. Further subways, with connections to Brooklyn, are within 20 minutes.

Good hotel

Liked: The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly. We never ate breakfast there, but it looked good.
Disliked: There were some things that were not working in the room. There was no light fixtures in the bedroom, only a open area with some cables showing where the lighy fixture previously was. The location was a bit worrisome, especially for 2 ladies travelling on their own. And that is a lot coming from a South African, we are accustomed to being well aware of our surroundings. I did not feel save walking to the subway, and therefore took an Uber every day to and from the hotel to the subway, as walking there was not an option, especially at night.Had I known this, I would definitely have paid more to stay closer and in a safer area and feel safer all together. If your plan is to make use of taxi's and Uber, then this is a great spot, but I would not recommend walking to a subway at night. I know others will have a different view of the hotel, but my opinion is based on the fact that it was my sister and I travelling on our own. If we were part of a larger group, I think I would have felt safer.
